Title: Consumer Goods Retail Sector - Subject Matter ResourceLocation: Remote/WFH (Part-time 4-6 hours a week with potential for up to 8-16 per week as needed)
Duration: 04 months+ Contract
We currently have a contract opportunity for a Consumer Goods Retail Sector SMR to lend specific subject matter knowledge around vendor negotiations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
รย Participate in vendor negotiations with large CPG brands
รย Participate in the business development cycle
รย Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the client
รย Collaborate with the client team to ensure project goals are met
รย Potentially travel up to once per month for in-person meetings.
Qualifications:
รย 10+ relevant years of experience in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector
รย Prior vendor negotiation experience working at either a big box retailer, grocer, or quick serve company required
รย Strongly preferred to have previously held roles as either a Buyer, Merchant, or Category Manager
รย Ability to work 4-6 hours per week, with potential for up to 8-16 hours per week, as needed Apply Job!
