The company is looking for a motivated Perl Software Engineer to work with our in-house team. Prior experience with web-based software as well as cloud-based architecture is a plus. Candidates with strong coding principles will get top consideration. This position requires the capability to work on multiple projects independently with a positive attitude.
This will be an fully remote contract opportunity.
Requirements:
รย Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or significant related industry experience
รย 7+ years of application development experience in Perl
รย Hands-on technical experience with Apple Pay
รย Demonstrate solutions by developing code, documentation, and test plans
รย Experience with a variety of web frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Bootstrap, Angular, React, etc.)
รย A strong command of SQL and database technologies
รย Excellent understanding of software design, architecture, and programming principles
รย Be a persistent, creative problem solver
รย Self-starter with strong self-management and decision-making skills
รย A solid sense of ownership and teamwork
รย Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desired Skills:
รย eCommerce development experience implementing large scale web services
รย Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
รย Experience working with various programming languages
รย Exposure to Elastic Search or similar platforms is a plus
