Description:SM Renergy (P) Ltd (SMR), amongst other businesses, is involved in trading of products including - beverages (alcoholic and non - alcoholic), recycled polymers, industrial and railway equipment, sporting equipment and minerals from India to various parts of the world. We exclusively represent some of the largest brands from India in the international markets which include - Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, Europe and Central Asia.
SMR is seeking an experienced data analyst to identify new and further penetrate existing international markets on behalf of SMR's products.
Responsibilities:
ΓΒ Identifying, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from raw data
ΓΒ Using software to automate data collection and modification
ΓΒ Sourcing missing data
ΓΒ Spotting and predicting trends or patterns in complex data sets
ΓΒ Developing, updating, and automating reports and dashboards using visualization tools
ΓΒ Analyzing and reviewing report/data requests for clarity and content
ΓΒ Developing, implementing, and maintaining databases
ΓΒ Assessing the quality of data and removing or cleaning data
ΓΒ Delivering presentations to clearly and effectively communicate findings to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
ΓΒ Data warehousing
ΓΒ Setting up data infrastructure
Requirements:
ΓΒ BachelorΓΒs degree (or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, economics, or statistics
ΓΒ Past experience with trading products and commodities is a significant bonus
ΓΒ Strong programming experience with frameworks including XML, JavaScript, and ETL
ΓΒ Experience creating databases and developing existing frameworks
ΓΒ Experience with data-visualization tools
ΓΒ Ability to present work to technical and non-technical teams for approval
ΓΒ Solid planning, priority setting, and project-management skills
