Job Description
Position: Remote E/M Medical Coder
Location: Remote (U.S.-based preferred) Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
End-of-day production reports must be submitted by 8:00 PM ET.
Compensation: Hourly; rate commensurate with experience. Final offer discussed post shortlisting.
Equipment: Personal desktop/laptop required. Setup support provided for necessary tools and software.
Work Environment: Remote; weekends optional
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum 6 months hands-on E/M medical coding experience (Inpatient & Outpatient)
- Note: Internships or shadowing without direct coding responsibilities do not qualify
- Certification:
- Active certification from AAPC or AHIMA (CPC, CRC, CCS, CCA, etc.)
- Apprenticeship ("-A") status is acceptable
