Work Setting: Onsite preferred; remote available (must reside in Michigan)

Overview:
BlazerJobs is partnering with a school district in Flint, MI to hire Masters-level School Social Workers for the 2025–2026 academic year. We're looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting K–12 students through direct intervention, group work, and collaboration with special education teams.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide social-emotional support and intervention services for K–12 students
- Work with students in 1:1 and small group settings
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop and implement student plans
- Maintain documentation and adhere to district and state guidelines
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work
- Full approval or School Social Worker Certificate from the Michigan Department of Education (or SSW 310 letter with active application)
- Active MI Social Work license (LMSW or LLMSW) through LARA
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Candidates for remote positions must live in Michigan due to state fingerprinting requirements
