Role Description



We are seeking a creative talent leader whoโ€™s excited to move from best practice to next practice and reimagine our talent experience at our mission driven nonprofit. At Catalight, we are building the future of work for nonprofits.




  • Build an engaging employee experience through a culture of wellbeing and justice.


  • Support our humans with the learnings, capabilities, and opportunities to do their best work.


  • Design employee experiences that allow each human to experience wellness, equity, and growth.


  • Support employees, managers, and leaders on their team building journeys.


  • Expand our talent ecosystem, leveraging AI and modern tech to facilitate talent attraction.


  • Drive organizational success through a culture of continuous learning.


  • Partner closely across 4 nonprofits to design and execute an ecosystem strategy.


  • Build an inclusive and equity-informed function that can adapt and scale to support diverse needs.


  • Lead and innovate our people welcome strategy, operations, and coach our recruiting team.


  • Create safe and welcoming spaces as a baseline.



Qualifications




  • Experience with talent life cycles, learning tech systems design, and people experience design.


  • Knowledge in designing, developing, and delivering impactful talent approaches.


  • Experience recruiting for a broad range of job types and levels, including direct service, management, and executive.


  • Capacity to effectively lead teams, build engaging environments, and coach for career growth.



Requirements




  • Sensitivity to working with an ethnically, linguistically, culturally, and economically diverse population.


  • Commitment to the values of the organization while demonstrating good judgment, flexibility, patience, and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Workday, and basic AI tools.


  • Strong understanding of AI ecosystems for learning design and development.


  • Capacity to utilize computers and telephones to communicate effectively.


  • Visual and auditory ability to work with candidates, staff, and others in the workplace continuously.



Benefits




  • Fully remote position; must be able to work core hours on Pacific/Hawaiian time zones.


  • Occasional travel may be required.


  • Reports into our Wellbeing + Experience Team; you will be a manager of a team.



Conditions of Employment




  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ).


  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.


  • Must attend any required training.
