About the position
The Executive Assistant role at BlackRock's Aladdin Engineering team is designed to support senior leaders in a fast-paced global environment. The position involves managing calendars, coordinating travel, and organizing team activities, requiring a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can operate independently and maintain strong business relationships.
- Responsibilities
- Manage daily calendars for senior leaders, adjusting schedules based on last-minute changes. ,
- Arrange and reserve conference rooms, catering, audio/video, and other services for meetings and conferences. ,
- Coordinate travel arrangements and submit expense reports using Concur. ,
- Drive key team activities and events, including team meetings, strategy sessions, and social events. ,
- Handle tasks proactively to ensure seamless coverage for all supported staff. ,
- Build and maintain good business relationships with executives and administrative staff across the organization. ,
- Complete ad hoc administrative requests in a timely and detailed manner.
- Requirements
- 5+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a large global organization in the financial services industry. ,
- Ability to work independently and assume additional responsibilities as needed. ,
- Positive and βcan-do' attitude. ,
- Desire and ability to provide outstanding service to internal and external clients. ,
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. ,
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). ,
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ,
- High level of attention to detail. ,
- Discretion in handling confidential information. ,
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
