Part-Time Remote Content Editor (Contract Role)
$13–$16/hour | 4–5 hours/day | Monday–Friday | Remote (U.S.-based only)
We are a fully remote social media company seeking a Part-Time Content Editor to join our team as a contractor.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for editing pre-created social media content — including captions, Canva graphics, and short-form videos — based on client feedback. Edits may range from small text changes to completely recreating content if needed. You will also communicate via email with clients to confirm when requested changes have been completed.
Occasionally, you may be asked to assist with one-off content projects or create content from scratch if we have overflow work.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review and implement client feedback on monthly content batches
- Edit or recreate captions, social graphics, and videos using Canva
- Rebuild content from scratch as needed based on client requests
- Ensure all content aligns with the client’s brand guidelines and tone
- Email clients professionally to confirm updates and revisions
- Assist with overflow or one-off content creation projects as assigned
- Meet daily deadlines and communicate with the internal team when needed
- Qualifications:
- Strong grammar and editing skills
- Proficient in Canva (graphic and video editing)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable with professional email communication
- Based in the United States
- Experience in content editing, social media, or digital marketing preferred

Compensation:
$13–$16/hour, based on experience and skill set. This is a 1099 contractor position with consistent daily work.
