About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Perform in-depth quality control checks on survey data to identify inconsistencies, errors, and anomalies.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness before final reporting.
  • Use statistical methods and analytical tools to validate survey results, ensuring the integrity and reliability of datasets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on data quality findings.
  • Develop corrective action plans and update standard operating procedures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine survey methodologies, implement data quality improvements, and optimize data collection processes.
  • Utilize data cleaning tools and software to preprocess survey data, remove inaccuracies, and prepare datasets for analysis.
  • Provide data processing and analysis support for surface navigation setup and calibration, spool and jumper metrology, subsea navigation setup, calibration, data acquisition, and quality control of final reports.
  • Mentor and support the development of other team members.
  • Engage in the company's competency, Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE), and quality programs.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in offshore and/or onshore surveying, preferably with a focus on offshore activities.
  • Demonstrated practical experience in data management, data analysis, mapping, data standards, and related software.
  • Proficient in M365 Microsoft applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and OneNote.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Understanding of DGPS, geodesy, metrology, LBL, and surface/subsea survey sensors.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report findings and communicate with remote teams.
  • Ability to work in a fully remote environment and accommodate an on-call schedule when necessary.
    Nice-to-haves
  • Five (5) plus years of experience in offshore and/or onshore surveying, preferably with a focus on offshore activities.
  • ROV data processing ability using NaviEdit and NaviModel, specifically multibeam oriented surveys.
  • Photogrammetric knowledge, specifically using Agisoft Metashape.
  • Dimensional Control experience.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
