Robert Half HR Solutions is currently sourcing for a fully remote Instructional Designer with 4+ years of experience for our client. This organization has a national footprint but the audience will be primarily on the East Coast, so candidates who reside on the East Coast will be given preference. We are looking for a skilled Instructional Designer to support our client a long-term contract basis. This role focuses on developing engaging, self-paced learning content to support employee training, particularly in healthcare software. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive eLearning modules and digital learning materials using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
- Transform in-person training sessions into self-paced, on-demand learning experiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training objectives and content needs.
- Apply adult learning theories and instructional design models to create effective training solutions.
- Create supplementary instructional materials, including infographics, videos, and simulations, to enhance learning.
- Develop and implement knowledge checks and assessments to measure learning outcomes and improve content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain and update training content within learning management systems (LMS) such as Workday Learning.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance data.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and eLearning.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or a related field.
- Proficiency in eLearning tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
- Strong understanding of instructional systems design (ISD) principles and adult learning theories.
- Demonstrated ability to create engaging and interactive eLearning modules.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), particularly Workday Learning.
- Knowledge of healthcare software training will be considered a strong advantage.
