About the position
Join our team as a Professional Fee Coder specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR), Cardiovascular Surgery, and Evaluation & Management (E/M) services. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from home while engaging with a dynamic healthcare team.
- Responsibilities
- Code complex procedures and critical care encounters in Interventional Radiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, and E/M services ,
- Manage a heavy E/M workload, including high-acuity inpatient and observation encounters ,
- Ensure compliance with current coding guidelines and standards ,
- Maintain productivity of 4-6.5 charts per hour
- Requirements
- 3+ years of professional fee coding experience, focusing on IR, Cardiovascular Surgery, and E/M ,
- Certifications: CPC, CCS-P, with CIRCC ,
- Experience with Epic preferred ,
- Must adhere to 2023 IP E/M coding guidelines
