- What you will do
- Fulfil data and reporting requests for the business unit
- Present information through reports and dashboards utilizing both Power BI and SSRS reporting tools.
- Work with the Business and Product team members to solve data and reporting challenges
- Provide innovative data visualizations and dashboarding solutions for business stakeholders
- Create and amend stored procedures, SSRS reports and SSIS data integration code accordingly
- What you require for the role
- Proven experience in Microsoft BI stack T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and Power BI
- Experience working within Property & Casualty, Specialty or Reinsurance
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks
- Preferred experience maintaining and enhancing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- Proven ability to take initiative and be innovative
- An analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Experience working in an environment leveraging remote communication collaboration tools
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps software development - including design, build, code review, testing, release and bug fixing
