- Job Description:
- Proven experience in a solution engineering role, preferably within the network monitoring domain.
- A strong understanding of network monitoring principles and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of OpenNMS or a demonstrably fast learning curve.
- Expertise in designing and implementing monitoring solutions utilizing OpenNMS and other relevant tools (e.g., Kafka, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Cortex).
- Proficiency in Linux and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for a diverse audience.
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Grafana, Kubernetes/Openshift, Helm Charts, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Experience developing custom plugins or integrations for OpenNMS is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
