- Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Teach nursing courses in the home health industry.
- Implement skills check-off for students.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the home health industry.
- Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the nursing program and address student needs.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach initiatives.
- Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred).
- 2 years experience as a RN nurse.
- Valid RN license with experience in hospital and/or home health settings.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to supervise and mentor students effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to promoting student success and maintaining high educational standards.
- Nice-to-haves
- Previous teaching experience or nurse management experience is highly desirable.
