We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Center Support Representative to join our team. As a key member of our service center, you will provide exceptional administrative and customer service support to ensure seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Customer Service Excellence: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues, and providing timely solutions.

  • Documentation and Data Entry: Process and verify documentation related to freight movement, and enter/update shipment information into our computer system.

  • Administrative Support: Perform clerical functions, including maintaining files, answering phones, and sorting/distributing mail and packages.

  • Freight Handling and Coordination: Administer the freight pick-up process, make delivery appointments, and manage documentation related to driver check-ins and collections.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Coordinate with sales, operations, and other service centers to address customer needs and operational issues.

  • Cash Handling and Compliance: Reconcile cash and checks, prepare deposits, and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws/regulations.

Qualifications and Requirements:



  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service and general office administration preferred; experience in transportation or logistics is advantageous.

  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to use general office equipment and software.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of FedEx services and products, with the ability to handle confidential information and follow instructions accurately.

  • Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated time management skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:



  • Environment: Office and dock environment, fast-paced and deadline-oriented.

  • Hours: May vary based on operational needs.
