We are seeking an experienced and passionate Adjunct Online Instructor to teach in our Engineering Management & Leadership program at the University of San Diego. Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to develop and teach online courses in our MS-EML program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering management and leadership, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience with online instruction at the university level. Key Responsibilities:
- Commit to teaching excellence and uphold the University's core values of academic excellence, knowledge, community, ethical conduct, and compassionate service
- Develop and teach online courses in the MS-EML program, including setting goals and strategies, communicating complex ideas, and defining innovative solutions
- Engage with students through multiple modes of communication, including discussion boards, virtual office hours, and email
- Grade assignments and provide qualitative feedback within 72 hours of submission
- Complete required training, including LDC-102 The USD Way: Online Course Facilitation
Requirements:
- Graduate degree preferred, with extensive professional experience in engineering management and leadership
- Experience with online instruction at the university level is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
