Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA) Project Coordinator to join our team at Bellevue College. As a key member of the eLearning department, you will be responsible for managing the tracking, coordination, and payment of workshops in the Online Excellence Teaching Academy (OETA). This is a temporary position with funding for one year, and we are looking for a candidate who is passionate about supporting faculty and students in an online learning environment.

Responsibilities:


  • Manage scheduling, tracking, communication, and data of OETA trainings

  • Guide faculty in understanding and meeting OETA training requirements

  • Maintain tracking databases with necessary personnel data

  • Build reports and graphs to display information relevant to completion of tasks

  • Coordinate room reservations or online Zoom sessions for upcoming training sessions

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the OETA project

  • Provide consultation and support to faculty and staff

  • Assist with system administration for eLearning platforms

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field

  • 1 year of experience working with Canvas or another LMS system

  • 1 year of large-scale project management experience with at least 500 users

  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with databases and create visual aids

  • Effective problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Experience working with diverse colleagues and/or students in a collaborative and inclusive environment

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 1 year of Learning Management System Administration experience

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all modalities of learning and how to make online learning accessible

  • Effective skills in researching and analyzing eLearning programs
