We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team, working remotely from the comfort of your own home. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing secure applications and services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to prevent fraud, identify threats, and manage digital risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product and software development teams to design applications and services with security in mind
- Develop and promote repeatable secure development practices, fostering a culture of security and reliability within our team
- Create secure application frameworks and libraries for enterprise use, guiding product and software development teams in integrating security controls into the software development lifecycle
- Perform product security design, determining security requirements, creating security architectures, and developing policies and training content
- Continuously assess application security practices, implementing improvements that facilitate speed and agility
- Analyze data and metrics to track the effectiveness of our Application Security program
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application development, secure coding, security testing, and automation
- Proven experience providing secure design guidance for multiple application portfolios
- Strong programming skills, with the ability to write scripts and automate tasks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express and interpret security and risk management terminology in business terms
