We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Math Tutor to work with high school students in a one-on-one setting, providing homework prep and support in various math subjects, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus. As a Math Tutor with our company, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of hundreds of students and families.
Job Summary:
- Provide in-home, one-on-one tutoring for high school students in math subjects
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans to meet the unique needs of each student
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and our office team to ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and submit reports to our office within 24 hours
Responsibilities:
- Teach students in a way that is engaging, interactive, and tailored to their individual learning style
- Balance tutoring hours and ensure that each student receives the support they need
- Respond to student and parent inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Follow up with our office regarding student enrollment packages and hours
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the education field, with a focus on math tutoring or teaching
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with students in a one-on-one setting
- Credentialed tutors and/or graduate degrees are a plus, but not required
- Excellent communication, administrative, and typing skills
- Reliable transportation, current car insurance, and access to a computer, internet, and smartphone
