Job Overview:
- Location: Remote (work from the comfort of your own home)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends)
- Experience: Minimum of one year in medical billing and collections
- Travel: None required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer patient calls regarding Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and research balances
- Manage patient refunds and process patient payments
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, clients, and guests
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections
- Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare
- Thorough understanding of EOBs and ability to effectively communicate with patients via phone and writing
- Extensive attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude
