Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Insurance Representative to join our remote team, working with a Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client. As a subject matter expert, you will provide exceptional support to patients, develop and review content, and analyze complex problems to deliver expert solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to assist patients and provide support
- Develop and review content, such as manuals, training materials, and documentation, to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Gather and review patient billing and medical information, using computer skills for data entry
- Analyze complex problems or scenarios and provide expert solutions, operating according to the guidelines of the Federal Health Care Program
- Collaborate with other team members or departments to provide insights and expertise as needed
- Work with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent Medical Benefits experience (required)
- Recent Medical call center experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
- Great work attitude and willingness to help others
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- High Speed Internet with Modem access
