Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Amazon Online Opinion Sharing and Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of data-driven decision making at Amazon. This is a remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and discuss requirements from business partners across various verticals, including Memberships, Sales, Reverse Logistics, Finance, Product, and more
- Build new data ingestions using a combination of native AWS services and internal Amazon tools
- Maintain and improve existing data ingestions, ensuring they meet evolving standards and corporate mandates
- Develop, improve, and maintain systems and tools for internal team and external partner use to manage data
- Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed for ETL and data cleanliness by colleagues and supporting teams
About Our Team:
The Ring Data Warehouse team manages the centralized data repository for Ring, acquiring and publishing data from various internal and external sources. We are a dynamic and innovative team, and we are looking for a talented individual to join our ranks.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
- Experience with SQL
- Preferred experience with AWS technologies, such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
- Experience with at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
