Job Overview:
We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other documents from recorded messages. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiology transcription, proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment, and excellent computer skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and other medical documents from recorded messages with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Review and edit drafts to ensure accuracy of medical terminology and adherence to report format
- Utilize foot pedal and macro system efficiently to maximize productivity
- Coordinate with medical staff to clarify any unclear or vague information
- Maintain confidentiality of all transcription reports and patient records
Requirements:
- Availability to work from Saturday to Wednesday, with flexibility to work weekends as needed
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a medical transcriptionist focused on radiology
- Proficiency in using foot pedal transcription equipment and computer
- Good typing speed with exceptional accuracy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and treatments
- Proficient computer skills with access to a reliable computer and high-quality headset
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines
