Job description: Position: Experienced Bookkeeper
HR Office Savers, Inc. is seeking resumes for a well established family-owned accounting practice looking for an experienced bookkeeper to handle payroll and other accounting functions for small businesses in the local area.
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle payroll processing and related tax activities for multiple small businesses.
- Manage various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Reconcile financial statements and ensure accuracy of data entries.
- Collaborate with clients to provide financial insights and address inquiries.
- Maintain organized records and documentation in compliance with industry standards.
- Position is virtual/remote based in Texas or Florida.
- Required Skills/Abilities:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping roles.
- Proficiency in both QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop is essential.
- Familiarity with Xero is a plus, though not a mandatory requirement.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work efficiently in a remote environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing client needs.
Compensation: Compensation will be negotiated based on experience.
