About the position
- Responsibilities
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint and Power BI solutions for clients.
- Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to plan and deliver data-driven dashboards and reports.
- Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting raw data from various websites or databases.
- Transforming, cleaning, and manipulating raw data to suitable formats for analysis.
- Creating and maintaining database models to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Designing and implementing data storage solutions, managing and enforcing data governance, as well as developing data procedures and policies.
- Utilizing SharePoint to enhance business processes through streamlined operations and improved collaboration.
- Providing technical assistance for database design, integration, and data mapping.
- Evaluating and improving existing BI systems, conducting regular system tests and troubleshooting.
- Working with other team members to understand business needs and goals, and translating those into specification and software solutions.
- Providing training and support to users within the organization to maximally utilize BI and SharePoint tools.
- Requirements
- Proficient in Power BI, SharePoint, SQL Server and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
- Strong understanding of enterprise data management concepts including data governance, data quality, data modeling, and data auditing.
- Ability to write effective, scalable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
