About the position

Review complex loan documents and drive deal closing calls with internal and external team members.
Ensure legal documentation accurately reflects the intentions of the credit approval.
Facilitate teamwork and continuity among stakeholders.
Maintain solid knowledge of loan processes and pursue new knowledge as required.
Accept change positively and engage productively with the team.
Ensure transactions are closed in compliance with the Bank's loan policy.
Work with Relationship Manager/Underwriter to understand transactions and obtain necessary documentation.
Liaise and coordinate pre-closing requirements with clients and team members.
Balance regulatory and policy requirements when making decisions.
Stay current on pending and proposed regulatory changes affecting compliance.
Ensure Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements are met prior to closing.
Resolve issues that might impede closing and involve management when necessary.
Complete post-closing steps to ensure documentation is received by downstream partners.
Monitor and clear loan exceptions and respond to audit requests.
Book and fund new loans and related activities in the loan accounting system.
Perform process quality reviews and comprehensive testing of system enhancements.
Develop and follow inter-departmental controls and risk-reducing processes.
Prepare and submit periodic departmental and team reports.
Maintain accuracy and customer satisfaction as a priority.
