- Description:
- Conduct functional and skill based assessments including Vineland, VB-MAPP, AFLS, etc
- Customize treatment plans to address the child’s deficits based on assessment results
- Work effectively with parents and conduct family training sessions to guide parents on continuing implementation
- Direct and effectively supervise Registered Behavior Technicians
- Organize, review, and maintain data collection for ABA programs
- Supervise ongoing ABA programs, assess their performance, and adjust as appropriate
- Develop behavior plans and programs to reduce problem behaviors and teach functional skills
- Collaborate with peers, leaders, and other team members
- Some of the areas you will address with your client may include: Language acquisition, Functional communication training, Social skills training, Daily living skills, Decreasing maladaptive behaviors, Community safety skills, Toilet training, Executive function training
- Requirements:
- Current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Minimum 2 years experience working with the ASD population
- At least 1 year of home-based ABA experience is highly preferred
- Experience supervising BCBA candidates and RBTs
- Experience with various assessment tools including Vineland, VB-MAPP, and AFLS
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
