About the position
- Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical training programs for the Boston University community.
- Lead the development, coordination, delivery, and assessment of IT-related training.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with partners and source necessary training resources.
- Manage the design, development, and delivery of asynchronous, synchronous, online, and in-person training.
- Oversee course schedules, room reservations, and training announcements.
- Serve as the system administrator for the eLearning (SumTotal) and tutorial registration systems.
- Collaborate with other groups in IS&T and across campus to maintain and improve training facilities.
- Report on training activity and efficiency over time.
- Seek out ways to continually improve training offerings.
- Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- More than 8 years of experience in technical training or related field.
- Nice-to-haves
- Experience with eLearning design and development.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
