Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in MSBI (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and Power BI for a 100% remote W2 opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics needs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and other database objects.
- Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes using SSIS.
- Create and manage SSRS reports and scheduled report distributions.
- Build and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather and analyze data/reporting needs.
- Work with SSAS (tabular/multidimensional models) to support OLAP analysis.
- Ensure data integrity, performance, and security across BI platforms.
- Perform regular code reviews, unit testing, and documentation of all work.
- Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- Proven experience in building Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Solid knowledge of T-SQL, query optimization, and relational database design.
- Experience in data warehousing and ETL design.
- Familiarity with dimensional data modeling and data visualization best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure SQL, Power Platform, or Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications related to SQL Server or Power BI.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
