About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) with expertise in QuickBooks Online to provide consistent and accurate bookkeeping support for multiple companies. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a startup environment by helping build foundational systems and workflows.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks Online for multiple businesses.
- Prioritize and complete bookkeeping one company at a time, starting with a designated focus.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
- Work through historical transaction backlogs to bring records up to date.
- Ensure ongoing, error-free bookkeeping maintenance.
- Proactively communicate updates, flag inconsistencies, and compile relevant questions.
- ✅ Qualifications:
- Proven experience using QuickBooks Online (Certification is a plus).
- Strong grasp of bookkeeping principles and bank reconciliation processes.
- Ability to manage multiple sets of company books effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Tools & Technology:
- QuickBooks Online, Xero
- Excel, Google Sheets
- Familiarity with various banking apps
