Power Platform Developer / Application Programmer

Overview
We are looking for a Power Platform Developer / Application Programmer to support an Azure Power Automate modernization project. The role focuses on developing and modernizing workflows, ensuring secure coding practices, integrating with Azure services, and delivering clear documentation. This is a remote consulting role with opportunities to work closely with architects, analysts, and cybersecurity specialists.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modernize workflows using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse.
- Integrate solutions with Azure services and APIs.
- Apply secure coding practices and support security testing.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, user guides, and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers in an agile environment.
- Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience as a Power Platform Developer / Application Programmer.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Azure Functions.
- Proficiency with C#, .NET, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience with secure software development and testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, SpecFlow).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (preferred)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- CompTIA Security+ or Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert (a plus)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
