About the position
- Responsibilities
- Work with business partners to scope analysis to answer key business questions and challenge their thinking.
- Help the business prioritize deliverables and manage expectations.
- Perform exploratory analysis of large data sets.
- Derive tactical and strategic insights to improve business strategies and accelerate business growth.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and statistical skills towards taking complex and unstructured business problems, and providing structured, hypothesis-driven and data-supported practical solutions.
- Have strong empirical and analytical background, with proven ability to combine quantitative and qualitative findings to frame the right questions and measurable insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to prioritize initiatives that provide a better customer experience.
- Advocate for specific features based on customer/business feedback and industry trends.
- Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science or related field.
- Exceptional business judgment and quantitative abilities.
- Strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex analyses into committed recommendations.
- Strong technical skills in data analysis tools and programming languages (SQL, Python/R) and a good understanding of data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create visually impactful reports and dashboards.
- Hypothesis testing and experience with experimentation (A/B testing).
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling techniques and their application to business scenarios - more specific to surface and communicate business insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey complex information to both technical and non-technical partners.
