About the position

    Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of business segment strategies and healthcare industry trends to deliver clinical insights and consultancy.
  • Consult regularly with provider partners to drive improved performance and success in quality and affordability.
  • Manage relationships with Value-Based Provider Partners and ensure effective action plans are developed and enacted.
  • Conduct assessments of provider partner infrastructure and clinical capabilities.
  • Engage with network partners to influence practice redesign and support Population Health Management.
  • Facilitate client meetings to educate and support Cigna's integrated value proposition.
  • Connect Clinical Operations teams with Network Provider Partners to improve collaboration and care integration.
  • Participate in local market committees to analyze opportunities and execute initiatives for cost reduction.
  • Act as a Clinical Subject Matter Expert, participating in cross-functional teams to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide consultative guidance and recommendations to the Client Account Team to enhance customer engagement and affordability.
  • Ensure client understanding and satisfaction with Cigna's programs and services.
  • Collaborate with matrix partners to execute strategies for growth and program engagement.
  • Resolve complex clinical issues and non-standard client benefit requests.
  • Support cultural training and vendor integrations for a seamless client experience.
    Requirements
  • Active and unrestricted Nursing License.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Advanced Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical practice experience.
  • Proven industry experience in a Health Sector related field.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, critical thinking, and execution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence diverse teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Requires intermittent travel within assigned market.
