Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to serve students in a Clinton Township, MI school district. Clinton Township is located in Macomb County and offers a supportive community atmosphere where educators can make a meaningful impact.
- Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW).
- Approval as a School Social Worker from the Michigan Department of Education.
- Current LMSW or LLMSW license.
- Familiarity with Michigan special education regulations.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and interventions to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Participate in special education evaluations, IEP development, and crisis response.
- Build partnerships with families and connect students to outside community resources.
- Promote a safe and supportive learning environment across grade levels.
