About the position
- Responsibilities
- Receive and resolve member questions
- Utilize on-line claim adjudication system to resolve pharmacy claim transmission and member coverage issues
- Effect changes in member eligibility through manual entry in claims system
- Create mailings to members and providers for eligibility cards and billings
- Create client specific brochures or member communication templates
- Process reimbursements to members for cash prescriptions
- Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Pharmacy Technician Training Certificate preferred
- 1-2 years member services, pharmacy technician, or PBM experience
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office, Access, Excel, and Word
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High degree of initiative and accuracy
- Detail oriented with ability to prioritize work
- Self-motivated
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to complete work with a minimum of supervision under rigid time constraints
- Honest and trustworthy, exhibiting sound business ethics
