Job Description
I run a marketing agency (powered by Clay.com), and I’m looking for a skilled video editor to turn raw recordings into high-retention, YouTube-ready content — think Alex Hormozi-style: punchy, fast-paced, packed with value.
This is long-form business/marketing content, and I also want your help repurposing each full video into short-form clips for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other platforms. You'll get a sample reference video + transcript to guide the editing style, and we’ll kick off with a short paid test project.
What You'll Be Doing:
Editing long-form YouTube videos in a clear, engaging, high-velocity style
Creating short-form clips (YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn native videos) from the long-form
Adding strategic cuts, transitions, bold on-screen text, light animations, and B-roll
Matching a specific editing style (you’ll get a sample video + transcript)
Collaborating via Slack, Notion, and Frame.io
What I’m Looking For:
YouTube editing experience (especially in business/marketing content)
Strong sense of pacing, flow, and story structure
Clear communicator with reliable turnaround
Bonus: thumbnail design + upload management skills
