About the position
- Responsibilities
- Provide supervision and management support for full-time professional employees, including recruitment, selection, training, and performance management.
- Develop solutions to complex situations and monitor trends to modify existing programs or initiate new initiatives.
- Identify and implement appropriate technologies to deliver effective services to student communities.
- Maintain relationships with the campus community and national organizations to support underserved student populations.
- Design and lead training modules for new staff and campus professionals.
- Oversee program operations, including onboarding new staff and managing counseling models.
- Assist staff in handling complex student cases and develop program goals and objectives.
- Collect and analyze participant data to evaluate the impact of services.
- Requirements
- Demonstrated competencies in multicultural counseling and human development theories.
- Advanced knowledge of research methodologies and designs.
- Experience working with historically underrepresented ethnic minority communities and first-generation college students.
- Knowledge of methodologies to enhance student achievement and effective counseling strategies.
- Extensive experience in multicultural competencies and crisis intervention.

- Master's degree in a related area or equivalent experience/training.
