Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Integration Specialist to support and maintain the connection between TrueCommerce EDI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is a part-time, remote position requiring 8–10 hours per week, with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EDI workflows, data mapping, error resolution, and a solid understanding of how TrueCommerce integrates with Business Central. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth transactional flows and resolving any integration-related issues as they arise.
- Key Responsibilities
- Create, monitor and maintain the TrueCommerce EDI integration with MS Business Central
- Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping, transmission, and synchronization issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856, 846, 855) are accurate and timely
- Update and maintain documentation of integration processes
- Implement and test changes to EDI configurations and mappings
- Provide support and training to internal users as needed
- Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with TrueCommerce EDI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Strong understanding of EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transaction types (e.g., purchase orders, invoices, ASNs)
- Experience with EDI mapping, configuration, and error handling
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable internet connection and availability for periodic virtual meetings
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a B2B retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Familiarity with integration tools or middleware (e.g., Data Integrator, APIs, custom extensions)
