Role Overview
As a Data Analytics Intern at HireShire, you will support our analytics and business intelligence teams in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to drive insights across our HR-tech ecosystem. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building dashboards, and generating reports that support decision-making in a fast-growing tech environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data cleaning, preprocessing, and validation for accurate analysis
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Build interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Work with SQL databases to extract and manipulate structured data
- Contribute to predictive modeling and statistical analysis under mentor guidance
- Research and apply best practices in data visualization and storytelling
- Document workflows, maintain datasets, and ensure data integrity for ongoing projects
- Requirements
- Currently pursuing (or recently completed) B.Tech/BE/M.Tech/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, IT, or related fields
- Strong understanding of statistics, data wrangling, and visualization concepts
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with SQL
- Knowledge of Python (libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn) or R
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Exposure to machine learning basics (scikit-learn, regression, clustering, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) for data storage/analysis
- Participation in data hackathons, Kaggle competitions, or analytics clubs
- Certifications like Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Data Analyst Associate, or similar

Stipend
Minimum USD$16/hr (in accordance with United States federal & state minimum wage guidelines for interns), with potential increment based on interview scores and skill assessment
