Job Description
I am seeking an experienced academic editor to review and refine a public health research manuscript intended for submission to a peer-reviewed journal. The editor will be responsible for improving grammar, sentence structure, clarity, and overall academic tone while preserving the original meaning of the manuscript.
The role will also involve enhancing the logical flow between sections, strengthening transitions, and ensuring the document reads smoothly and professionally. In addition, the editor will review the manuscript for consistency in terminology, formatting, and referencing style throughout the document.
Particular attention will be given to ensuring that citations and references follow standard academic conventions and that headings, tables, figures, and in-text citations are properly aligned with the journalβs submission guidelines.
Familiarity with scholarly writing in public health, epidemiology, or related health sciences is highly desirable, as the manuscript includes technical research content and specialized terminology. Prior experience editing manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals will be a strong advantage.
The overall objective is to produce a clear, polished, and submission-ready manuscript that meets the quality and formatting standards expected in reputable academic publications.
