We’re looking for knowledgeable, passionate instructors who can teach one or more academic subjects, prepare students for standardized exams, and uphold StevensED’s values of integrity, excellence, and lifelong learning.
What You’ll Teach
Instructors may specialize in one or more of the following areas:
- Standardized Test Prep
- SAT, ACT
- Advanced Placement (AP®) Courses
- Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Calculus, Precalculus, Physics, English Language & Literature, English Literature & Composition, Music Theory, and more
- International Baccalaureate (IB®) Courses
- French, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (SL/HL), English (SL/HL), Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE), and other IB subjects
- Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-focused lessons in a one-on-one or small-group setting.
- Use StevensED-provided instructional resources and licensed platforms
- Follow StevensED’s teaching framework and participate in required trainings
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and review materials
- Track student progress and communicate effectively with students and parents
- Maintain professionalism and uphold StevensED’s institutional values
Qualifications
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (candidates without will not be considered)
- Demonstrated mastery of one or more subjects listed above
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, professional, and committed to student success
- Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in a related field
- Prior teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
- Familiarity with AP®, IB®, SAT, and ACT frameworks

- Flexible, part-time position with hybrid and remote opportunities
