They are seeking an Accounting Technician II to ensure fiscal accountability for funds, manage compliance with federal regulations, and generate bolthires reports. Responsibilities Ensures fiscal accountability for funds awarded to the agency from various sources Compliance, interpreting and applying federal regulations, cash management and reporting expenditures Interpreting, auditing and monitoring of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) Entering data into the database to generate bolthires reports Skills Associate's degree in Accounting from an appropriately accredited institution and one year of accounting experience High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and three years of experience in accounting work An equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with the North Carolina Financial System (NCFS) OR Experience using another electronic accounting system(s) Excel experience Experience with reconciling financial data Experience with assisting, interpreting, and/or analyzing accounting data in various aspects of grants Benefits Paid vacation Paid sick leave Paid holidays Retirement Health insurance Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Company Overview
