Pursuit Collection is a hospitality and attractions company that creates memorable experiences for guests at iconic destinations. They are seeking an Accounts Payable and T&E Accountant to support vendor management, process accounts payable and travel expenses, and assist with payroll accounting during month-end close. Responsibilities Maintain open communication with vendors and build strong vendor relationships Assist in purchase order (PO) lifecycle, including validating PO accuracy, matching Pos to invoices, and troubleshooting discrepancies Support procurement activities by ensuring accurate vendor onboarding, documentation, and compliance for purchasing purposes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance purchasing workflows, drive process efficiencies and strengthen internal control Manage vendor setup and maintenance, including US and Canadian vendor compliance practices Complete annual 1099 (US) filings Monitor AP mailbox Audit employee expense reports for reimbursement Set up and maintain new users in Expense Reporting System and provide ongoing support Provide back-up support for T&E month-end responsibilities Monitor T&E mailbox Provide month-end backup support to payroll accounting, including reconciliations, payroll-related journal entries, and validation of payroll data in coordination with the payroll team Assist in ensuring timely and accurate posting of payroll expenses to the general ledger Other duties as assigned Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, Outlook, Teams and Word Strong “can-do” attitude, resourcefulness, and flexibility Sound decision-making, problem-solving, and judgment skills Commitment to positive working relationships across the organization Comfortable working with a geographically dispersed team Highly organized, adaptable, resilient, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrates urgency, prioritization, and a service-focused mindset Curious, flexible, and motivated to improve processes Associate's degree or certificate in accounting or related field preferred Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Expensify, Coupa, Coupa Expense and Payroll is a plus Benefits Medical Vision Dental 401K with employer match Free access to Pursuit attractions and 50% off for friends Discounts on hotel stays, dining, and retail Subsidized mental health and wellness resources Company Overview Pursuit connects guests and staff to iconic places through unforgettable experiences that become inspiring stories to tell.
