Aledade seeks Actuarial Summer Interns for a 10-week hands-on internship focused on data analysis and financial modeling in value-based healthcare.
Your Role
- Here’s what you will be doing:
- Drive value-based care through sophisticated data analysis and financial modeling.
- Take ownership of substantive projects such as analyzing Medicare Advantage data and building a historical database for Commercial.
- Attend meetings with other interns and company leaders.
- Participate in professional development programming.
- Gain exposure to senior executives and industry leaders.
- Develop expertise in healthcare policy, programming languages, business operations, Medicare, commercial payer contracts, and clinical workflows.
- Attend relevant healthcare events and trainings.
About You
- The company is looking for:
- Students in actuarial science or related bachelor’s degree programs.
- Preferably candidates with at least one actuarial exam passed.
- Knowledge of Excel and programming languages such as SQL is a plus.
- Prior internship experience.
- A strong record of academic success.
- Passion for healthcare and making a positive impact.
- Self-starter able to take initiative and ownership of projects.
- Collaborative team player.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
