Job Description
We are a real estate investment and management company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QuickBooks Online expert to manage accounting across multiple legal entities and investment classes.
This is a project-based or part-time ongoing role for someone who understands the complexities of intercompany accounting, real estate structures, and year-end adjustments — all within QuickBooks Online Advanced.
Scope of Work:
- Record and manage intercompany loans, both receivables and payables
- Compute and enter interest accruals based on the Applicable Federal Rate (AFR)
- Input CPA-provided year-end adjusting journal entries
- Match QuickBooks balances to filed tax returns, by entity and class
- Prepare monthly financial reports using Classes (for projects/investments)
- Perform complete month-end close process for multiple entities
- Maintain clean, audit-ready records

- Payroll or tenant/property management
- Credit card transaction posting

Requirements:
- QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification (Level 2) or equivalent real-world experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate or investment accounting
- Fluent in managing Classes and multi-entity chart of accounts
- CPA-level understanding of adjusting entries and reconciliations
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
