Job Description
Desjardins is a financial services cooperative that is committed to putting members and clients first. The Advisor in Banking and Credit Services will provide personalized support by phone, answering questions and helping members find solutions that meet their financial needs while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience while answering member and client questions about their credit card accounts, bank accounts, online services and other financial needs
- Take a proactive advisory role and provide personalized support by identifying the needs of members and clients and suggesting tailored solutions
- Establish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention
- Effectively manage and solve member and client problems using a solution-oriented approach
- Help members and clients become financially empowered by guiding them to use the digital tools available
- Proactively update your knowledge by strategically monitoring your area of expertise
Skills
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in customer service
- Knowledge of French is required
- Available to work Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
