About the Role:

We’re building an AI-driven acquisition engine to identify and start conversations with independent pest control business owners across the U.S. You will design, deploy, and maintain OpenClaw-based AI agents that source targets, enrich records, score opportunities, draft personalized outreach, and sync everything into our CRM.

OpenClaw is a self-hosted gateway for AI agents with skills, sessions, tool use, and automation (cron/webhooks).

What You’ll Build:

  • A lead intelligence pipeline: source → enrich → score → draft outreach → push to CRM
  • OpenClaw “skills” that call APIs, process CSVs, run enrichment, and generate structured outputs
  • Scheduled/triggered automations using OpenClaw cron jobs and webhooks

Guardrails: compliance + approval workflows + secure secrets handling

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate OpenClaw Gateway + agent workspaces (self-hosted)
  • Implement custom OpenClaw skills (API integrations, enrichment, scoring, CRM sync)
  • Build reliable data pipelines (dedupe, normalization, error handling, logging)
  • Create structured LLM prompts (JSON outputs, deterministic scoring, retry logic)
  • Integrate with outbound systems (email sequences) + CRM (HubSpot/Close/Salesforce)
  • Monitor performance weekly and iterate based on reply/meeting conversion

Required Skills (Non-Negotiable):

  • Strong engineering fundamentals (debugging, reliability, documentation)
  • Automation + API integration experience
  • Python (data work) and either Node/TypeScript or willingness to work in it (OpenClaw runs on Node)
  • Experience with at least one: Zapier / Make / n8n
  • Experience with databases (Postgres/Airtable/Supabase) and CRMs
  • Comfort with web data extraction (scraping responsibly, parsing messy HTML)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with OpenClaw (Gateway, skills, sandboxing, cron/webhooks)
  • Lead-gen ops / sales ops experience
  • M&A research experience
  • Experience building scoring models and outbound personalization pipelines
  • Security & Operational Expectations
  • Treat inbound messages and external content as untrusted input
  • Keep API keys in a secrets manager / env injection (never hardcode)
  • Use sandboxing when appropriate (Docker-based isolation)
