Job Description
I'm an established Amazon seller with active brands in the health/wellness space looking for a skilled product research analyst to identify high-potential supplement opportunities that meet specific criteria. This is a paid trial project with strong potential for ongoing monthly work.
What I Need:
A scored, data-backed report identifying 6–8 supplement product opportunities on Amazon that meet all of the following:
Consumable with natural repeat-purchase behavior (Subscribe & Save compatible)
Sourceable from USA-based manufacturers or co-packers (domestic white-label or private label)
Low-to-medium competition on Amazon (page 1 with under 500 reviews, or a clear differentiation gap)
Durable or emerging demand — not a fad spike
Monthly search volume of 1,000+ with room for a new entrant to gain traction
Each Opportunity Should Include:
Monthly search volume + trend direction (Google Trends, Exploding Topics)
BSR range and estimated monthly unit sales for top 5 ASINs
Review velocity of top competitors
Average selling price + estimated margin range
Subscribe & Save viability (penetration rate + review language indicating repeat purchase)
USA supplier lead (at least one sourcing contact via ThomasNet, RangeMe, or similar)
Competitive gap summary — why is there an opening?
Overall opportunity score with your ranked recommendation
Tools Expected:
Helium 10 (Black Box, Xray, Cerebro)
FastMoss or TikTok Creative Center (TikTok demand signals)
Exploding Topics
SEMrush or Ahrefs
ThomasNet / RangeMe for USA sourcing validation
Amazon (BSR, Subscribe & Save, review mining)
This Is NOT For You If:
You rely on one tool and call it research
You've never worked with supplement or consumable categories specifically
You deliver raw data without interpretation or recommendation
You don't understand USA sourcing or default to Alibaba-only thinking
Ideal Background:
2+ years doing product research for Amazon FBA brands, preferably in health, wellness, or supplement categories
Understands supplement-specific dynamics: compliance considerations, label claims, ingredient trends, and what drives repeat purchase in this category
Can think beyond the spreadsheet — would this actually sell and why?
Engagement:
Fixed price project
Strong potential for ongoing monthly pipeline work if quality is high
To Apply, Include:
Your research process — what tools, in what order, and why
One supplement or health product opportunity you've identified previously — what you found and how
Your proposed price for this scope
Applications without a process description and relevant example will not be reviewed.
