About the position

This Analyst will assist in developing, designing, and providing business
intelligence that will help keep the organization focused on activities aimed at
improving compliance throughout the Company pursuant to Economic Sanctions. The
Analyst will utilize their expertise to conduct screening; review alerts
generated and adjudicate alerts. In addition, the Analyst will conduct thorough
investigations, analyse data, and prepare and produce comprehensive reports with
recommendations to senior management. The Analyst will also help to capture and
report on metrics in a meaningful and engaging manner that drives an
understanding of GE&C monitoring and risk assessment activities. This Analyst
will work collaboratively and build excellent relationships with colleagues in
Operating Lines, Legal, IT, Finance, and other departments to complement
existing compliance activities.

    Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare procedures for working standards, plans and deliverables
  • for the Economic Sanctions Program. Will support in delivering qualityinsights to the organization.
  • Support the Senior Manager with screening system assurance and optimization
  • to identify and drive technology and system advancements for improveddelivery and risk mitigation
  • Lead by example in Continuous Improvement mindset to identify areas of
  • improvements, continuously reviewing and developing team processes and waysof working
  • Performing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, including ownership
  • assessments, and prepare reports with recommendations to senior management.
  • Act as a liaison with the Ethics and Compliance Training and Communications
  • Team for Economic Sanctions matters.
  • Performing investigations and data analysis where needed to help identify any
  • potential Compliance risks and trends.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Financia crimes. Masters Degree in Compliance
  • a plus.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in compliance, sanctions or regulatory background.
  • Strong or expert knowledge of Economics Sanctions regimes and program
  • requirements. Fluent in written English. Experience with technology in thesanctions field and AI.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) required.
    Nice-to-haves
  • Sanctions or other Financial Crimes Certifications would be a plus
