Shiseido Americas is a subsidiary of the renowned Shiseido Company Limited, known for its prestige beauty brands. The Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining sales forecasting templates and supporting the Sr. Manager of Sales Development with analysis and reporting to drive retail and net sales. Responsibilities You will create forecasting tools that help analyze key business trends across all Shiseido US brands You will consolidate across brands for overall Shiseido US roll up for Leadership monthly, quarterly and annual views You will be using COGNOS, pull weekly shipments, sales deductions, and markdowns data to build daily and weekly recap, analyzing results by brand You will support Sr Manager in Fragrance revenue discussions when needed You will compile business review information for corporate meetings You will manage Fragrance retail mix of business quarterly output You will collaborate with the Reporting Team to maintain up-to-date reporting on shipments, retail and sales deductions You will contribute to add/delete process by reporting visibility on inventory at trade You will manage BOM/Inventory reporting by brand and account You will manage Shiseido US month end shipping updates with customer service team You will support ad hoc sales and inventory performance dashboards Skills 1-2 years of retail planning experience (a plus) Extremely proficient in MS Excel Knowledge and experience with Word and PowerPoint Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong analytical and storytelling abilities Can work under pressure with fluctuating deadlines and a high number of tasks Knowledge and experience with the retail or CPG industry Attention to detail, high sense of responsibility, dependable and self-starter Can build and maintain relationships within Shiseido Can work a hybrid schedule (3 days per week in the NY office) Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Life and Disability Insurance Paid Time Off Paid Volunteer Days Paid Company Holidays Paid Parental Leave 401K with 6% Company Match Talent Development & Learning Programs Internal & International Mobility Product Discounts & Annual Gratis Employee Led Affinity Groups Tuition Reimbursement Company Overview Shiseido offers the highest quality products in skincare, makeup, and fragrance.
